Live Workshop September 25th, 2026 12PM-1:30PM EDT
EARLY BIRD PRICING AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2026
You know the client. They can name the pattern, trace it back to where it started, and tell you exactly what they should be doing differently. Nothing changes. Months later you're back over the same ground you covered in session three, wondering whether you're the one missing something.
Most clinicians were trained in a model that treats the mind as the way in: name the distortion, build the skill, process the memory. It works — until it doesn't, and most of us weren't trained on what comes next. From the other side, medical providers and bodyworkers may sense there’s more beneath the surface, yet are only trained to treat the presenting symptoms. A person needs mind, body, and spirit to synergize in order to thrive — treating them in isolation only tells part of the story.
Alexandria Turnbow, LMHC works in the space between. Trained in clinical hypnotherapy and altered states of consciousness, she weaves somatic movement and energy work into traditional talk therapy — personalizing the approach to meet the person where they are.
This workshop draws on that same integrative lens, built around three ideas:
Most of us were never taught how to heal ourselves on a deeper level — this is required work for real depth in our care.
The domains of life synergize rather than operate in isolation — integration is where the real movement happens.
Protective patterns keep people stuck — learn what actually helps someone move, not just understand why they're stuck.
Throughout the workshop, you'll hold two versions of yourself at once — the person offering support, and the person who also needs it. We’ll move between education, experiential practice, and discussion throughout. What you notice about your own patterns and parts becomes an example of what you bring back into the room with the people you support.
Describe a whole-person framework for conceptualizing wellness across interacting life domains.
Identify protective patterns as they show up both in the people you support and yourself.
Recognize a repeated pattern or stuck presentation as a signal to explore another domain, rather than a failure of motivation or insight.
Apply somatic and experiential tools that move us from insight toward embodied change.
Analyze real-world scenarios of stuckness through multi-dimentional lens.
Develop a personal practice across wellness domains that supports practitioner regulation and guards against burnout.

Founder, Mindful Perceptions
Alexandria Turnbow is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Mindful Perceptions Counseling, a practice she opened as a solo clinician in 2019 and has since grown into a group practice. She holds a master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy, is trained in clinical hypnotherapy and other altered states of consciousness, and works as a Qualified Supervisor.
That integrative training shows up directly in her work: alongside traditional sessions, she brings in somatic movement and energy work, personalized to the individual, and facilitates community workshops on themes including Permission to Be and Awaken the Light Within. Her approach is shaped as much by her own history as by her training — she grew up in rural Tennessee in a home marked by substance use and a shortage of emotional attunement. She describes her healing as an ongoing journey, not a finished project. She's also quick to say her cats have taught her as much about boundaries as any training has, and that music festivals are her favorite kind of nervous system reset.
